Below is an overview of financial and other family obligations.

in our APPS handbook, provided upon enrollment.

Family Obligations***
1-Day
• Complete all required forms.
• Attend your Ease-In Day before regular school begins in September.
• Attend class with your child each week. This may include a conference with the teacher during class time.
• Attend at least one (1) General Meeting held on the first Thursday evening of every month.
• Work Hours: Volunteer one (1) hour at a fundraising event and one
(1) hour at a "work party" for
a total of two (2) hours.
2-Day, 3-Day and 4-Day
• Complete all required forms.
• Attend the Saturday orientation workshop in August (new families only).
• Attend your Ease-In Day before regular school begins in September.
• Work one (1) assigned work day each week in your child’s class. This includes a 30 minute conference time after class.
• Be available to work a scheduled emergency day in the class if necessary (other than your scheduled work day).
• Attend nine (9) general meetings held on the first Thursday evening of every month.
• Work Hours: Volunteer eighteen (18) hours per year for your committee
and/or volunteering for fundraiser or other events. One of your 18 hours
must be worked at one of our annual fundraising events as approved by the
Ways and Means Chairperson. Parents of two children enrolled need to complete
a minimum of 28 hours per year.
• Each member must attend one (1) Saturday inside/outside "work party" and one (1) Saturday or Sunday maintenance day caring for the yard.
• Support the mandatory fundraisers: (1) SCRIP, through purchase of
Scrip Gift Certificates and/or enrolling in the E-Scrip program; ($250.00
a month) or by choosing a "buy-out" for the year ($100.00). (2) Provide
a minimum $50 VALUE donation for use for silent auction or raffle.
