This class is a wonderful way to introduce preschool to your child and
for you as a parent to become familiar with a parent cooperative school.
Unlike our other classes, your obligations are simply the monthly tuition
and participating in each session with your child. Although you are welcome
to join the monthly meetings and other activities of the school, they are
optional.

This class is very often the first preschool experience
for both the children and the parents. The teacher and the parents
work together to make this a smooth and enjoyable first experience. As
in all of our classes, parents are always welcome to come to all or any
part of the child's class, but are required to attend on their scheduled
work day.

This class introduces the children to activities such
as “planning and recall” at circle and snack time, checking
out books from our school library
and an opportunity to dictate a story which is written down by the
teacher or a parent.

This class focuses on the developmental and academic
needs of the children who will be ready for Kindergarten after their
preschool experience. The children are introduced to concepts such
as "show
and tell", extempore word associative story telling, beginning math
and printing skills, indoor play based theme centers and small group
work.
